Benefits & ServicesThe Alumni Card gives you entry to the Students’ Union, a special rate at Cannizaro House Hotel and entitles you to join the library at St George’s for free and the Sports Centre at a greatly reduced rate. If you have not been sent your Alumni Card please contact the Office of Alumni & Development. School Club Alumni of St George’s are always welcome to join current students for a drink in the bar or join our Sports Centre at a special rate. Please just bring your membership card and our team here will make you feel at home. Various societies and different sports clubs will also welcome alumni; please contact the Students' Union on +44 (0)20 8725 2709 or email stuuni@sgul.ac.uk for more details. Please carry your card at all times when using the facilities at St George’s. Use of the Sports Centre is subject to joining — for membership enquiries: +44 (0)20 8725 2662. Library Membership Free non-borrowing rights for all alumni in St George’s library. The library, on the first floor of Hunter Wing, is stocked full of medical books and journals for healthcare professionals. The library has about 41,000 books and 550 current journals and serial subscriptions.If you would like to join, please come in person to the library reception with your alumni membership card and another form of identification. A barcode will be attached to your Alumni Card. Library opening hours: Term-time: Any queries regarding alumni library membership should be directed to the Office of Alumni & Development. Queries regarding material in the library should be directed to the library helpdesk on +44 (0)20 8725 5466. Library membership will be subject to the acceptance of the rules of the library and will include non-borrowing rights only. Computer access is not possible as it is an infringement of the Janet network rules. |
