What is WestFocus?

WestFocus is a collaborative partnership between seven universities. It works with local businesses and community groups across South and West London, and the Thames Valley in order to make a positive impact on the regional economy. WestFocus partners work together on a range of projects that stretch from world-class research to training and business advice.

What do we do?

• Foster communities of best practice in areas of academic strength
• Create and develop new businesses and joint ventures
• Provide mentoring, skills training, incubation facilities, business accommodation and financing for budding entrepreneurs and young companies
• Open up and facilitate access to specialist knowledge, expertise and training to solve business problems
• Encourage students employment, including project and placement opportunities, in local businesses
