A longstanding interest in child and infant nutrition, particularly lactation.

Principal interest is the development of evidence based policy in this field. I work with a number of agencies to achieve this.

Active in the promotion of nutrition education for doctors. I direct the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health Diploma course in paediatric nutrition.

Practise as a consultant in neonatal paediatrics in the tertiary level Intensive Care Unit at St George’s.
