Cellular & Molecular Medicine

This newly formed Division of Cellular and Molecular Medicine integrates different disciplines within St George's providing a diverse and rich source of expertise. The objectives of CMM are to gain insights into human biology in health and disease at the molecular, cellular, and functional level. Research interests within CMM span areas of molecular and cellular biology as applied to acquired and inherited disease

The Division is headed by Professor George Griffin and consists of a Centre for Infection, a Sector for Clinical Studies and a Sector of Cellular and Molecular Pathology.
These sections and centre are made up of a number of research groups.
