Janet Roaming Service

SGUL is a member of the Janet Roaming Service (JRS), which in turn is a member of eduroam.

This allows members of participating institutions to access the Internet at any other organisation taking part in the scheme by using their own username and password. When you visit a participating university, you will be able to access the Internet including the usual services provided by your institution.

For SGUL members this includes web based email and the VPN service which you are strongly encouraged to use.

For visitors, you can expect to connect to all services outlined in the JRS Technical Specification
