My Journals A-Z List

NHS staff have access to over 2,000 electronic full-text journals covering clinical medicine, nursing, psychology and healthcare management .

These journals are available direct from any computer, in the ward, office or at home, with an internet connection, via the National Library for Health's My Journals service.

My Journals offers an A-Z listing of all the journals you can access, both in print  in the library and electronically.

You need an NHS Athens password to access these resources-  to get a password self-register from any NHS PC , visit the library in person or contact our computer help desk on 020 8725 0596 (internal ext 0596).

For best results login to get a list of all national, regional and local  electronic or print journals available to you.  Information about the Library's  print holdings are currently only listed for St. George's Healthcare Trust and Wandsworth Teaching PCT Athens users.

Journal table of contents alerts
My Journals  provides a table of contents service to help you keep up to date with the latest edition of your favourite journal, direct to  your email.

Zetoc, provided by the British Library, is also available to keep you on top of new journal content via Zetoc Alert  or Zetoc RSS. Your NHS athens password is required to set up alerts.

University electronic journals
Visit the main St. George's Library journals page  to check for university-funded electronic journals.
Due to licence restrictions NHS staff can only access university electronic journals  within the library. For  more information contact the library computer helpdesk on 020 8725 0596 (internal extn 0596)

NHS electronic books 
The My Journals service  provides access to  nationally purchased NHS electronic books.   Locally purchased e-books can be accessed separately at: MyiLibrary and Books @ Ovid
