Introduction to Refworks

RefWorks is an online web-based application which allows you to manage your bibliographic references (similar to Reference Manager or EndNote). As it is online, it is available to use from any PC with an internet connection.

RefWorks is free to use for SGUL staff and students through your Athens username / password. (Please note it is not available to NHS staff).

At the end of this one hour session you will be able to:

• enter references in your personal online database - manually or import from electronic databases eg using Ovid Online
• manage your references in your online database using folders
• search your references
• generate a bibliography using different journal formats
• include your references in a Word document

This is a FREE workshop available to all SGUL or Faculty library members.
