Using other Libraries
SCONUL Access
St George's, University of London participates in the SCONUL Access scheme which combines the old SCONUL Research Extra and UK Libraries Plus schemes. This is a co-operative venture between most of the higher education libraries of the UK and Ireland. It enables staff, research students, full time postgraduates and part-time, distance learning and placement students to borrow material from other libraries.
The allowance is two books from the Threeweek loan categories.
It also provides undergraduates with reference access to participating libraries.
Visitors must provide a SCONUL Access card from their home institution plus a valid ID or Library card. New borrowing cards can only be issued between 9am and 4pm.
Please visit www.access.sconul.ac.uk for further information.
Qualifying staff and students of St George's, University of London who wish to join this scheme must first contact Lynsey Hawker, Circulation Desk Supervisor, St George's Library; email: lhawker@sgul.ac.uk, tel: 020 8725 5291
