Palliative Care

The Palliative Care research group is relatively new. Since it was established in 2001 the group has developed a research portfolio with particular interests in the mechanisms and management of cancer-related fatigue, prognostication in advanced cancer, the palliative care and informational needs of people with learning disabilities and the assessment of individualised quality of life. The group has established working relationships with the COMPASS research collaborative and with the EU funded European Palliative Care Research Collaborative.

Total grant income since 2001 is £780 000.
