The Intracellular Pathogen Cooperative at St George's is a multi-disciplinary collaborative group comprising of biological and clinical scientists studying various intracellular pathogens. Our research interests cover areas such as host-pathogen interactions, bacterial gene expression, molecular and cellular biology, cellular immunology, microbiology and vaccine research.

The remit of the Cooperative is to establish, support and develop the "new technologies"  applicable to functional genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics. The formation of the group aims to advance the work of the collective by promoting and supporting the transfer of skills and the new technologies between the members to enable a collaborative approach to research.
