Money 2007-08
For students starting in 2007-08 The fees you pay and the financial support you can receive can depend on where you live and come from (and your visa/residence status), the course you are taking and your family’s income.
The main factor is whether you are a ‘home’ or international student. Home students are from the UK/EU or EEA (see the List of EU/EEA countries), students from other countries are international students.
If you are from Scotland or Northern Ireland you should contact the relevant addresses in the table Fees and finance — what applies to me? below.
In some cases, however, you may need advice about your status, for example if you have lived abroad for a while. Please ask us if you are in doubt, or refer to the UKCOSA website.
The table below provides a quick overview only, for more details see:

You do not receive any UK Government financial support and are expected to have funds for your tuition fees and living expenses while you are in the UK . However you may be able to apply to the St George's EU/International Hardship Fund if you get into unexpected financial difficulty whilst you are studying. These funds are limited and not guaranteed and cannot be used for tuition fees. We do not have scholarships for international students. |
