Diploma of Higher Education/BSc (hons) Healthcare PracticeThis dynamic course is designed to be responsive to the needs and prioritities of the NHS, voluntary and independent sectors. As such, changes in the courses offered and the delivery format are possible. The course is designed for practising nurses and midwives who wish to continue their clinical education. It offers a flexible post-registration programme that links academic study to clinical practice. The course aims to develop the skills of the experienced practitioner whilst they remain actively involved in direct patient care.
Course Structure This is a flexible modular course with a wide range of professional pathways. Modules can be combined to form an individualised programme of study. They are organised into pathways that reflect particular specialities in nursing, midwifery and healthcare and include the following:

Methods of Teaching A variety of teaching methods are employed which vary from module to module, including lectures, seminars, group work and clinical practice. Methods of Assesment Participants must pass both the clinical practice and the theoretical assessment for each module in order to achieve credit. Special Features
