Information for Schools, Colleges and Universities

Information for school and college staff (and other advisers)
The vast majority of the events we run for local students are arranged through individual schools and colleges.

Primary schools

We run a number of activities with local primary schools (Wandsworth area) with sessions led by fully trained St George’s student volunteers. The number of schools we can offer this service to is limited.  School representatives may contact the Widening Participation Unit (WPU) for further information.
Experiments Roadshows www.roadshow.sgul.ac.uk
These fun filled, interactive sessions are designed to raise young people’s aspirations and increase their awareness of a range of educational and career opportunities in medicine and healthcare.  Fully trained St George’s student volunteers run these sessions that will bring a range of healthcare professions to life.

Schools/colleges: please book a visit through the Experiments Roadshows website.
Universities: click here to read about our Experiments Roadshows franchise.
Clinical skills days
Throughout the year we are able to offer hands on taster sessions in our clinical training ward. These are arranged through individual schools for groups of up to 30 students.  School representatives may contact the Widening Participation Unit (WPU) for further information.
